I really like the New England area. And I wanted to get out of Pennsylvania. Coming to UMass, there's just so much to do. We are in a small, little town. There's Amherst. But there is a huge population here, always tons of great events going on on campus. I actually work with UMass News now, which is our news channel on campus. And we do the whole show on our own. One week I could be an anchor. The next week I could be doing the teleprompter, or doing floor directing, or audio. We have our own satellite version of TEDx at UMass Amherst, right here on campus. We're going to put on basically a mini TEDx conference. Students can kind of tell their stories of how they changed the world. How their revolutionary ideas are going to change the world, at least. It can be a little daunting to come into a 22,000-undergraduate university. But you can always make a big school smaller. Break it up. Get involved on campus. UMass has tons and tons of great resources that they can get involved in here. It's kind of transformed me into the person that I am today. My name is Chelsea Lawson. Class of 2015. I stand for change and diversity. And I stand for UMass.
