Alessandro Bomprezzi

Mechanical Engineering, Class of 2016
UMass Video Profile Series Transcript :Alessandro Bomprezzi

I've always enjoyed math. My major is all about fluids and thermodynamics. There's a feeling of unity when you come here. It combines academic and athletic programs really well. As a freshman, I didn't really know what to expect. I didn't really know what college was like, how to approach my academic coursework. Even the training was nothing that I was used to. But then after that, especially with the team being so close, it's so easy to adapt. And our coach really stresses being one whole team, because it helps everyone stay motivated. If someone's having a problem, it's easy to confront. Academically, the engineering program has networking and career fairs. So they really help you get internships and jobs, which then set you up for your career. Half my wardrobe is UMass-related. I love the school. It's the best college experience you're going to get. The academic program, the athletic program, even the campus and the dining, all top notch. My name is Alessandro Bomprezzi. I'm going to graduate in 2016. I stand for taking the Atlantic 10 Swimming and Diving Championship back. And I stand for UMass.
