Business is very dynamic. Things change. Markets change. Economy changes. So I think the most valuable lesson that I learned was to have the readiness for transformation and for transition. I came from a very small high school in Morocco. For me, the campus at UMass was like a city. It took me a while to get adjusted to it. But as a foreign student, we had a lot of orientation programs. And the sense of community that we had on campus was so tight and so welcoming that I felt really at home very quickly. I find that the education that I got, the foundation I got, was incredible in preparing me for what I really became passionate about in my work life. The engineering school taught me a lot. It just goes beyond academics. You no longer can be just book smart. You got to be street smart. And knowing the competition out there, I wanted to become a contender when I get out. So I think that fully rounded environment is what UMass offers. And the rest is up to me. When I wrote the software for barcode printing, we had one client. We sold them this barcoding software. And then we went to another client. And then we went after this whole market of 60,000 companies that needed barcode printing. So that's how I got started. The opportunity was there, and my experience at UMass definitely helped make me who I am today. My name is Ramin Khoshatefeh. I'm the CEO of enLabel Global Services. I stand for entrepreneurship, and I stand for UMass.
