My path through high school was focused on becoming an architect. I went to Temple University for architecture. I started to realize that that really wasn't what I was looking for in a career. And that's when I transferred to UMass. My UMass education means a lot to me. Most of what I do now ties back in one way or another to UMass. From a career standpoint, friendships. Mark Forgione is a UMass grad. His roommate and a very good friend of mine is the catalyst who put us together to create this. We've kind of all come here to New York and grown together in our careers. So we met one day at a restaurant up in midtown. And then we just started talking about food and restaurants, and what we like. And met whenever we could, once a week, twice a month, and continued to refine the business plan. We were able to build this place, train, and open. It was really record time. And a lot of that I can attribute back to the core stuff at UMass. It's just a world class education. One of the greatest choices I ever made was switching to UMass and finishing my education. My name's Christopher Blumlo. I'm the owner of Restaurant Mark Forgione, Khe-Yo, and Butler's Flat.
