This is a hat that, as you can see, has been around the block a few times, has been worn on fencing bouts, on safari in Africa, up to the top of Mount Kilimanjaro, all over Central and Eastern Europe, to name a few places. So it has definitely been well loved, this hat. I think it needs a wash. I'm Nick Lowe, founding partner of 451 Marketing. I majored in German literature and also political science. Political science was a little bit more in line with what I was intending to do for a career track. German literature was just because I thought it was interesting. UMass is a place where you can learn to take initiative and to find opportunities and really make the most out of those opportunities. I studied at Oxford University, arguably one of the best universities in the world, through UMass. I studied in Germany for a year through UMass. I fenced nationally through UMass. My actual mask, you can see it's pretty well worn from many a bout. My fencing whites right here, complete with UMass patch. Fencing is done in kind of a straight line where you're approaching your opponent, changing around your distance, and then you come in for a lunge attack, hopefully when they're not expecting you. It was serendipity. I was looking for a sport to join when I was a freshman at UMass. I had never done fencing before. As it turns out, my roommate was a fencer, and he said, "Hey, why don't you try out the fencing team?" I caught onto it fairly quickly, and by the end of my sophomore year, I was the captain of the foil team, so competing nationally for UMass. And that really is one of the great benefits of a UMass education. People are looking to make the most out of their educational experience and take the initiative to do that. UMass is absolutely the place. I'm Nick Lowe, founding partner of 451 Marketing. I stand for resourcefulness. I stand for UMass.
